Get Involved

Pray! The leaders of many Churches in Cambridge have committed to set aside an hour every Tuesday lunchtime to meet together to pray for the coming of God’s Kingdom in our area, and specifically for the various Hope 2008 events and initiatives. Prayer is at the heart of Hope 2008. We want to commit all we do to God, to make sure we depend on his strength. We believe that God answers prayer, and that all he does is intended with good towards people. As we pray ‘Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven’, we pray for God’s goodness toward Cambridge to be experienced in real situations in real ways, and for his gift of Hope to be responded to and received by people of all ages and backgrounds throughout our area. Please join with us in committing to regular prayer for our City, localities and villages, and for Hope 2008 in Cambridge.

Get stuck in locally! There will be many opportunities throughout 2008 to engage with Hope activities in your locality. Find out from this Hope Cambridge website, or from your local church, what is happening in your own area, and give it your full support!

Invite others! Some of the Hope 2008 initiatives will be perfect for inviting your friends and neighbours. Don’t miss these opportunities!

Give! Some local churches are financially supporting Hope Cambridge, but you may wish to give into these initiatives personally. Please contact Stuart Wood for details of how to give: stuart@hopecambridge.com
